Today is Wesak Day. Happy Wesak Day to all! Trying to explain to Elly and Emmy that today is Buddha's birthday.
Its actually Buddha's birthday, enlightenment day and his demise day. It will be too complex to explain the three dates to them as now, so I just said its Buddha's birthday.
Elly insisted to sing a 'Happy Birthday' song to "Amituofoh", it means Buddha in Chinese. So in the car we sang a ' Happy Birthday' song to "Amituofoh". It was really funny!
May Elly and Emmy grow up with the Dhamma guidance, follow the Middle Path and lead a purposeful life.
