Being a thalassaemia carrier myself and it is inherited by Emmy, she is a carrier like myself. I just found out abt being a thalassaemia carrier after delivering my two girls. And thank goodness Sky is not a carrier himself.
It seems common to be a thalassaemia carrier, one in twenty is a carrier. I need to bring Elly to a blood test, this girl being injectionm phobia and screamed hysterically the last time she had a jab, we have yet to do a thalassaemia test for her.
Pray that she is not even a carrier like myself or Emmy.
