White Christmas at Pavilion, KL

Elly was too awed seeing the snow at Pavilion. It was actually man-made snow, made of water and some solutions that melted once it reached the floor.

The snow starts at 8pm daily at Pavilion main entrance. The place was packed with people. Check out the place if you happen to be in town, and be prepared for traffic jams.

Christmas is Mommy's new name

Granny asked Emmy what was her mommy's name, Emmy answered 'Christmas'. She confused Christina with Christmas... obviously.

Ho ho ho!

We Miss 'Kei-Yeh' (god-dad)

We had a short reunion with some ex-USM friends at New York's Deli in 1U. Elly and Emmy were so happy to see their 'kei-yeh' Eric. On the way home, the girls cried and said they missed 'kei-yeh'. The girls has grown very fond of 'kei-yeh' and loved his companion.

Thanks Eric for being there for the girls. Kids don't lie and its proven Eric is a people magnet, from babies to adults. Ice's son, JY even invited Eric and Sky to his home for a play session.

Malacca Day Trip Part 2

We met Emma and Erin, cute girls from KL too. Elly and Emmy made friends with them and we bumped into them a few times, all the way to Dataran Pahlawan.

Its like that, sometimes when we bumped into someone, we kept on bumping them a few times the same day. Have you experienced such incident before?

Malacca Day Trip

We made a day trip to some of Malacca historical places at the end of November. Elly and Emmy hiked up to St Paul Church ruins and then to A Famosa. The weather was terribly hot and we adjourned to the nearby Dataran Pahlawan for some Taiwanese snacks - oyster mee suah and potato chips.

It was a sad thing that the Malaysia Eye was being removed from Malacca. Else, we will make a trip up the wheels. Next trip, we hope to visit some other interesting places.

Fun Learning with strawberries

Obviously, Emmy loves the playtime with the strawberries. Think deeper about it, each child learning style is unique and as parents we have to be observant to see what makes him/her ticks.

Will put more thoughts into creating more fun learning for the sisters. With so many fun learning classes in the market, its important to understand each kid and see what is best from the kid's view.

Strawberry Head

I always marvelled by the innovative products created by the Greater China comprising China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Recently bought these 'strawberries curlers' whereby just rolling hair into these strawberries can create beautiful curls.

Besides being a beauty product, its also an education tool for Emmy. She is a lil bit active and conventional ways of getting her to sit and learn does not interest her. I used the strawberries to teach her colors, shapes, counting. She seems to enjoyed the indirect learning very much.

Tried it on Emmy and had fun playing it with her. The effect: yes, it does curls and I found out that the effect is better if the hair is longer.

It is available at Sasa. Check them out!

Sisters Keeper

Just a candid shot of the sisters.

I just finished a family based novel by Jody Picoult called 'Sister Keeper'. Its a sad story about 2 sisters and how the younger sister wanted to sue her parents for 'deciding' on getting her to do a lot of 'donation' to her elder sister who suffered from cancer.

It ended with Anna, the younger sister died in a car accident and her organs being donated to her sister, Kate and others who need the donation.

Its a great read especially for parents as the author beautifully shared the noble intentions of each of the parents action.

Rapunzel 1

Elly loves Rapunzel. She had read about the girl with the long hair. In this 1 hour and 45 minutes movie, its entertaining to watch Rapunzel and her experience to escape from the tower.

Do bring your kids to watch this fun-packed movie. For myself, I enjoyed it very much too.

Merry Christmas!

Its December and Christmas is approaching. Brought Elly and Emmy to watch Rapunzel and we met Santa Claus and Santarina along the way.

And the girls got their lollipops. Thank you Santa and Santarina!
